Nutrition
Our healthy child nutrition program teaches life skills.
As educators, it is our belief that appropriate nutritional components are necessary to support brain power and strong healthy development. At Legacy Academy, your child will benefit from our healthy nutrition program.
Meals at Legacy Academy are served family style. That means children help set the table and serve themselves and each other. Our staff is seated with the children as they make their food choices and eat their meals. Mealtime becomes another opportunity to learn important life skills such as making healthy eating choices and using table manners.
Legacy Academy Chapel Hill will now be participating in the USDA Child and Adult Food Care Program
